Mixed Media: Painting, Collage, Assemblage
My mixed media work transforms raw psychological and sensual themes–desire, pain, loss, love—into layered visual narratives. Through painting, collage, and assemblage, I create tactile spaces that invite intimate, emotional engagement. These works are sculptural stories, drawing viewers into a world where memory and imagination meet, where intellect and instinct collide.
I’m also deeply connected to the shifting rhythms of the natural world. Working with pastels, paint, and collage allows me to respond to the beauty and the vanishing of our landscapes. Mother Nature is changing, retreating, disappearing. I try to hold onto her fleeting light, color, and emotion before they’re gone. It’s both an act of reverence and a call to attention: a reminder to cherish and protect what remains.
